Raisin Bread Pudding


  • 1/2 loaf raisin bread, broken into small pieces
  • 1 egg
  • 2/3 cup low fat milk
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp low fat margarine, melted


  1. Place raisin bread pieces into greased baking dish.
  2. In a small bowl whisk egg, milk, sugar and melted margarine.
  3. Pour over bread and leave to sit for 15 minutes until bread has softened.
  4. Bake in oven at 180ÂșC for 40 minutes or until knife comes out clean when inserted. Serve warm with a scoop of low fat ice cream.
