Easy Orange Cake


  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon low fat margarine


Grease cake tin with margarine and dust with a little extra flour. Preheat oven to 190°C. In a bowl lightly beat eggs. Add sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Sift together the flour and baking powder. Add the flour mix and orange juice a little at a time to the butter and egg mixture, until all combined together. Add to cake tin and bake for 33-40 minutes. To test if cooked insert a skewer into cake if it comes out clean the cake is cooked. Cool, remove from tin. Serves 4-6.
