- 1 cup dry rice
- 1 and 1/4 cups skim milk powder
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla essence
- 4 cups water
- Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan.
- Bring to the boil, stirring often.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer gently for 1/2 an hour, stirring often.
- Serve hot or cold with fresh fruit.
