- Eggs, 2 per person
- 4 cups water
- Whole meal sliced bread,
- 1 slice per person
- Low fat margarine
- In a small saucepan add water and bring to a simmer. Add eggs, simmer for 3 minutes, then turn off heat. Cover the pan and leave for 2 mins more.
- Toast slices of wholemeal bread, spread with low fat margarine and cut into soldiers / slices.
- To serve place egg in egg cup, gently tap the top of the egg with a spoon and remove so toast can
- be dipped into egg.
Makes a great afterschool snack for all ages.
